New Song--Strength of the Almighty

Hey guys! Here is the newest song called Strength of the Almighty.

The song began with the idea of needing a strength from something greater than any human being could present. The Almighty God will give you strength and a peace that surpasses all understanding. So if you're struggling with something that you have no idea what good could come out of it, rely on Jesus and the power of His word. In Romans 8 Paul says that he "...consider[s] our present sufferings not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." That's HUGE! We can't even look at a comparison between our misfortunes and the glory of heaven. That's definitely something to look forward to. So cast all your cares on Jesus and trust that He will bring you out of the pit you're standing in and make you into who He has called you to be.

Moves Like Jagger...???...

Do you have what it takes? This video is an attempt to recruit volunteers who would like to serve at one of the following capacities: media tech, sound tech, lighting tech, guitarist, bassist, keys player, vocalist, drummer, or any set up/tear down team. Our services couldn't be ran if were not for the "behind the scenes" people! Musicians and vocalists are important, and we need this area to be well blessed with skilled folks, but we desperately need techs too! Have a laugh at our video as we try to motivate people to step up to serve...

It's biblical for us to step up and serve in the church. Have a look at the passage in Exodus 36, specifically in verse 8 where it says "all the skilled men among the workmen made the tabernacle..." So we must serve! If you've been gifted, serve! Somehow, serve! If you would like to audition as a musician/vocalist, come to North Auditorium in Forest City on March 24 at 10am. We're looking forward to it! Can't wait to see you! Much love!

New Song--To Know Your Grace

Hey guys! In this video, Caleb teaches you a new song called To Know Your Grace. Skip Allen, campus pastor at the Shelby campus, and Caleb came together and decided to start developing some songs specifically for our body to sing together, united with one vision: to reach others with the gospel. This song was inspired out of John 8:12. Jesus says, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." (NLT) The song begins with the line, "the light that leads to life guides me through the night." We need to allow Jesus, who is the light of the world, to guide us through our darker times so that we can climb to the top of the highest mountain to proclaim his truth. The chorus is a prayer asking God to allow us to be a reflection of his glory and an example of the gospel, Jesus' selfless love extended to everyone. We ask for the love of God to shine through our weaknesses so that his grace can be known by those who do not know Him. If Jesus was the sun, we need to be the moon to reflect his light to the ones far from God. In the bridge of the song, it's sung, "may your power be revealed and your glory be displayed." This was taken from a phrase that our founding pastor, Neil Perry, often says. This should be our prayer, for the glory of heaven and the name of Jesus to be made famous by the acknowledgement of his power being revealed throughout our lives.

Comment below. We accept constructive feedback and very much appreciate it.
